Worthy Comparison

The Coleman Biscayne Warm Weather Sleeping Bag is a great choice when comparing it to the Enkeeo Comfort Warm Weather Sleeping Bag and the Yodo Compact Warm Weather Sleeping Bag. They all feature warm weather comfort, Polyester construction and a rectangle design for easy access. While the Enkeeo boasts a thin and lightweight sleeping bag coming in at 1.98 pounds, the Yodo weighs only 1.83 pounds making the Coleman Biscayne the heavier weight at 4 pounds.

They all have a full length two-way zipper which allows them to zip together with another bag. While the Yodo does not recommend washing, the other two are machine washable.

All three sleeping bag are made of durable polyester construction for years of enjoyment. They are all designed for warm weather use but the Biscayne and the Enkeeo can withstand temperatures down to 40°F the Yodo is only rated at 60°F. Each offers its own additional compression sack for storage, however, the compression sack included with the Yodo appears to be of better construction and quality.

The Biscayne offers a few more features that the others don’t have. For example, the QuickCord storage system allow for easy storage—you don’t have to tie or band your sleeping bag for storage. The ZipPlow feature pushes fabric aside while using the zipper keeping it snag free – the others don’t offer a similar snag free option. The Biscayne also offers Fiber Lock which creates pockets of insulation and locks it in place, increasing durability and improving insulation quality.

Our Recommendation…

The Coleman Biscayne Warm Weather Sleeping Bag is the perfect sleeping bag for warm weather camping. This particular model is the large size and measures 39” x 81”, perfect for people up to 6’ 4” tall. The Biscayne is constructed of a durable polyester shell and tricot liner with 4 pounds of Thermo Tech insulation to keep you warm and comfortable.

The Comfort Cuff feature surrounds your face like a pillow keeping your face warm and comfy. The Fiber Lock technology keeps the insulation from moving, which also increases durability and helps keep you warm. The Coleman Biscayne Warm Weather Sleeping Bag is a great value and comes with its own compression bag.

All in all, the Biscayne is a heavier option but well worth the extra weight. The fabric and construction features make it a very comfortable and highly durable warm weather sleeping bag. It’s the perfect option for those cool summer nights with its soft tricot liner and Thermo Tech insulation, which makes you feel like your sleeping in a pillow. You could pay more and you could pay less but we wouldn’t recommend it.
